And finally, the reason why I'm here, I picked up a project sega rally cabinet with only the frame, tube, model 2 steering, gear shift and pedals. I'm currently working on converting it and getting the L2M2 board working correctly.

Ok. So I'm reporting back!

I know this tech is really old and outdated, but I just got my hands on it and a racing cab and I was wondering if there are others that have come across my issues/behaviour

I have a squeaking on when I turn the wheel to a complete stop on the ccw side. Changes to the RV4 didn't take the squeak out, I have a feeling I'm going to have to adjust the belt?

I also made the changes listed in the byoac thread and also increased the ffb in profiler to 150% for global ffb settings, made sure centering is checked and it's so much better.

Here it is in the profiler..

And here it is in game (of course it's daytona :D)

I think I'm pretty close to completing the wheel mod, just have to get the pedals working so I can actually sit down on the thing!

I'm wondering if this the same type of behaviour that's expected from the L2M2? Is the wheel supposed to stay engaged when turned to absolute right or left? Or should it re centre?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

Ps my ini file for m2 emulator is as below

L2M2 is an old hack. You can try Pwm2m2 if you have anytime  ;)

Yeah understand L2M2 is very old and outdated. I may look into the new version at some point, but I'm a total newbie and we were lucky enough to have L2M2's made by someone in Australia. The PWM2M2 seems A LOT more daunting than the L2M2 :)

Hi everyone,

Sorry, I'm reading this thread via google translation and I can only speak English.

I am sorry to bring up an old thread, but I would like to thank aganyte and the rest of the people on this thread. I'm still reading the thread (about page 30).

I'm in the process of doing my own build as can be found on here:

https://www.aussiearcade.com/showthread.php/95819-Sega-Rally-pc-conversion

Again, I'd like to thank aganyte  for providing the schematic of the pcb to allow my conversion to happen!

I haven't completed yet, but hopefully I have something working very soon.

https://www.aussiearcade.com/showthread.php/95819-Sega-Rally-pc-conversion

Encore une fois, je voudrais remercier aganyte d'avoir fourni le schéma de la carte permettant à ma conversion de se produire!

Je n'ai pas encore terminé, mais j'espère que quelque chose fonctionnera très bientôt.
