mame et multi slot neogeo

Juste pour info, le multi slot est géré par mame, depuis la v0.154 .

Merci pour l info . Deja que a cause de toi je me suis dit tiens je vais mettre mame a jour pour jouer a raiden 2  et que cela m a pris 4 soiree pour "y faire "comme il faut, 2. Semaines apres tu m en sors une autre
Par contre cela marche comment ? Tu L as testé ?

Oui et cela fonctionne bien apparemment !!!
Il faut le lancer ainsi :

mame64 neogeo -cart1 mslug -cart2 lbowling

On peut mettre jusque 6 jeux !!!! Pendant l'attract mode les jeux défilent, et une fois crédité touche 4 pour sélectionner le jeu !

Mon futur projet de wip de nstyl de dans 15 ans de neogeo multislot va être tip top !!!

* created cartridge (slot) device types for each type of cartridge
   containing the above protection devices
* made the 'neogeo' set emulate a 6-slot MVS system allowing for
   multiple cartridges to be mounted, for example
   "mame64 neogeo -cart1 mslug -cart2 mslugx -cart3 mslug3"
   is the command-line syntax to launch an MVS unit with 3 Metal
   Slug games installed.
    - many of the hacks / bootlegs won't work in multi-slot setups,
      this is true to hardware
    - some carts (kof95, kof2002 for example) can block recognition
      of carts in higher slots if the NVRAM isn't already initialized.
      this appears to be true to original hardware because the kof95h
      set fixes this issue, powering off/on the system fixes it.
    - sound banking isn't 100% correctly handled so the odd game may
      fail with the slot system (trally) but regular loading still
      works
    - the slot / multislot support makes use of the Software Lists
      rather than the internal sets, please ensure the correct softlist
      XML file is present in your hash folder

merci l ami pour ces infos . Pour le moment je garde mon slot 6 c'est pas 100 % accurate et faudra faire des bat et autre edition de FE pour lancer les jeux mais le concept est interressant .

Pour ma part j ai fait un petit fichier bat pour le demarrage de mame et une fois en route ça tourne nickel, je n'ai pas constaté de bug... A suivre !!!
