Selon comment tu as mis tes dip switches des filtres de protection (15k, 24k, 31k, ou aucune protection), oui cela va bloquer et protéger ton châssis.

@njz3, mes dip switches sont configurés pour du 31khz, mais j'ai vu de l'image quand j'ai envoyé du 800x600. Ça aurait du me montrer un ecran noir, n'est-ce pas?

Si tu as une ancienne version de pcb et que tu utilises le vga out,malheureusement ce n'était pas protegé je crois...

Il me semble bien oui. Le mieux pour tes filtres est de faire un tour dans la Companion App (lien en premier post si tu ne l'as pas déjà installé, mais si tu utilises le SSD de njz3, c'est déjà installé), onglet filtres, et tu vérifies les valeurs de fréquences que le VideoAmp laisse passer.

Merci Tibal. Par contre je m'informe sur la protection hardware du videoamp. En vieillissant on a tendance à perdre des neurones et on est pas a l'abri d'une mauvaise manip

I'm looking to get 2 of your videoamps - who do I need to message njz3 or bandicoot? 

I'm going to be using them in sega rally 2 cabs with 24kHz crt, aganyte uffb board and sebs ssd. Seb has recommended at least a gtx 960 for his ssd which I believe is only available with dvi/hdmi/display port. Have I read right that the interlaced resolutions tend to be best for 24kHz which I wouldn't get using a hdmi/display port pass through? If so can anyone recommend a similar spec gfx card with vga or is an adaptor the only way to go with cards that age?

You can either ask me or Bandicoot to get a board. Price is 45euro + shipping, and 10euro for a modded hdmi2vga for recent gpus.

Some gtx960 have analog rgb on their DVI output. Worth checking this. Then yes you may use interlaced video in 1024x768i. This allows to play some recent games from Teknoparrot collection.

Else you can still use more recent gpu with progressive video like 1024x384 (24khz) on hdmi. The trick is then either to stretch the picture is emulators or use gpu scaling to put video to 512x384p (this works on intel, nvidia or amd).
In this case, you will only be able to play lowres games (most teknoparrot games refuse to work at such low resolution).

On my ssd image, I have a special edition that is ready to play for 24khz lowres games with the videoamp.

If I find one of these cards with analogue rgb dvi would any dvi to rgb converter work?

If your gpu have dvi analog out (check pins), then passive adapters dvi to vga will work perfectly.

J'ai une question qui me revient tres souvent à propos du videoamp, par des utilisateurs qui ne voient pas comment on fait pour passer d'une résolution "superlarge" comme le 1280x240p vers 320x240p.

C'est très intéressant. J'aurais bien aimé voir une vidéo d'un jeu récent pour observer le rendu sur une télévision cathodique.
J'ai également un mini PC HP ProDesk avec une sortie VGA et display port carte graphique integrer   
Est-ce que cela fonctionne aussi
et pour le display port quel adpateur faut t il

Pour le display port, il n'y a pas beaucoup de modèles qui font EDID passthrough, hormis celui conseillé dans le manuel du VideoAmp.
Si vous avez une sortie VGA native sur la carte mère, mieux vaut l'utiliser.
Je n'ai pas de jeux récents à essayer et en réalité je ne joue pas souvent, mon plaisir c'est de développer 😉
Peut être un autre utilisateur pourra témoigner ?
