J'ai enfin pu monter un volant (ici avec boutons et palettes  :D ) sur un panel Happ et je me suis amusé à estimer à la louche le couple du moteur.
Contante de couple d'environ 1Nm par ampère, c'est pas si mal.

Tout fonctionnait sur l'Arduino Leonardo, mais comme je n'avais plus assez de broches pour allumer les lumières, j'ai décidé de l'échanger contre un Mega (clone).
J'ai chargé le firmware, et puis plus rien... le BFF ne voit jamais le Mega... J'ai tout essayé... Je ne sais plus quoi faire... Quelqu'un peut-il m'aider ? Merci.

J'ai enfin réussi à tout faire fonctionner, et quelle joie !
Le problème avec le Mega était dû à la différence de débit en bauds entre le code Arduino et l'interface graphique. Il m'a suffi de faire correspondre les paramètres et tout a fonctionné !

Hi I was just wondering if anyone had any advice for configuring Sega Rally 3 FFB from the software side of things.  I am not sure if this is just how the FFB in Sega Rally 3 is implemented or something that I can configure on my side of things.

I am on a PWM2HAPP in my Rush 2049 cabinet.

I am using the FFB Arcade Plugin and have that in the directory of the game, and I have it set to Alternative FFB per the FAQ for the plugin.  All of the other settings are stock settings in the FFB plugin I believe.  I don't have damping enabled either.

I also saw in the FAQ for he plugin that it says if you are getting weird stuff to adjust the deadband and global gain, so I have had to adjust the deadband in BFF for some games or else I get a random jerking to the left when I'm a little right past center.  I've adjusted it to .06 and that completely goes away.  I haven't had to adjust the global gain from default of 1.5 for other games, but I have also tried adjusting that lower for Sega Rally 3 and I am still getting some unexpected behavior.  The power law is set to default 1.2.

in BFF I have the "allow fine tuning" checkbox unchecked so I don't believe it is taking any of those settings into considering. 

The FFB in Sega Rally 3 just feels different in the sense that when I am turning, instead of getting a constant pull the opposite direction, it is pulling the other way however it is like pulsing the pull instead of the constant pull.  Additionally I have noticed that sometimes on straight aways that I will get some FFB where it just does that same thing one direction. 

Again I am not sure, maybe that is how this game's FFB is just coded and how it actually works on the arcade cabinets?  I am not sure since I've never played it in the wild.  But the other games I have setup, I don't experience this.

Are there any settings in BFF or the plugin that I could change to make the pulling "smoother" and not that pulsing pulling feel?

The FFB for SR3 is almost perfect on my lemans cabinet. I am using an old FFB plugin but I don't think newest version broke it.

Have you tried the diagnostics page of the BFF to see whether your motor/electronics has an issue ?
It is often best to first test the torque control with diagnostics, then "Reset" the FFB parameters and try the game, and then only enable the "allow fine tuning" option and fine tune the effect according to your preference.
The "allow fine tuning" checkbox does not revert to default values automatically, you need to click on "Reset" for that.
